A Z-Upgrade complete overhaul for VCORE 4.0/4.1
The Z-Upgrade replace the original Z system with a ballscrews driven system.
More precise, more reliable over time, it offers a very high repeatability and a perfect consistancy in layer staking compared to a trapezoidal screw.
Maintenance-free and made to last in a production line. No wobble over Z.

Following the feedbacks, tests, assemblies, this version is born to simplify, and solve all the little things from the 3.x versions.
Parts count reduced, hardware quantity reduced, steps of assembly reduced, price reduced!
The Spring Guard from the previous revision, but better!
Springs guard will secure the balls, and will delete the possible eventuallity of them escaping the mechanism.
What is new from the Z-Upgrade 3.2 to the 4.0 version?:
A lot of things has been reworked on this iteration compare to the previous Z-Upgrade:
- Simplification of parts designed, easier implementation.
- Direct bolt in upgrade.
- Number of total parts per kit reduced from 265+ to 175-. Harmonized hardware: less screws types, convenient if self-sourced. Manufacture time reduced, and price reduced.
- BK ballscrew support swapped to FK support, no pre-disassembly this time
- Natively equipped with CNC Wobble X
- More dense integration of Wobble X in the arms
- Motor reduction 60:20 for a very high holding torque, even when the motor aren't active with a better tension margin.
- Proofed for heavy custom bed, or bigger print volume machines.
- Motor reduction + ballscrew allowing an insane precision over the Z motion, extreme constistencies, allow thin and repetable layer over time
- Still no maintenance needed (cleaning+thin lubrication once a year is enough)
- Updated Spring Guard design
- Reinforced arms possible with 5mm steel rods
- 1 version for ALL case scenario, available in 1605 and 1204 type ballscrews
- Overhaul design simplified for DIY; no supports needed, pins supports redesigned for more resilience, less material needed
- Everything included in the kit, no self soucing to do.
- Materials available: PA12-CF and PPS-CF (NEW)

Kits printed in high quality annealed PA12-CF or PPS-CF with advanced in house process.
Compatibility:
ONLY for VCORE 4.0/4.1 CORE XY and HYBRID CORE XY
The Z-Upgrade fit exactly like the stock Z-System volume, it is then fully compatible with IDEX and VAOC. Only the 3mm holes on the bottom plates needs to be enlarged to 4mm

This Bundle has some advantages for North America customers: Tariff will only apply to printed parts, the ballscrews are shipped from a US supplier, this will reduce the shipping and the import taxes. Z-Upgrade parts are the same across 300/400/500, only the ballscrew lengh changes. |
